Director of Community Engagement
- Oversaw a portfolio of 17 state broadband programs, providing strategic, technical, and programmatic support to programs, allocating up to $250MM to develop affordable broadband networks in underserved areas.
- Spearheaded a monthly meeting series with attendees from over 20 state broadband offices, providing strategies and support to improve broadband access in public and affordable housing programs.
- Participated in the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment challenge process, submitting over 13.5k service level challenges, improving the accuracy of FCC broadband maps and advocating for improved service to over 2MM homes.
- Represented the organization at 4 local and national conferences, serving as a featured presenter, and acted as a member of the NYC and Tennessee Broadband Task Forces, collaborating with over 150 stakeholders across the US.
Metropolitan Area Planning Council 2021 – 2023
Civic Technologist
- Led a $15MM project to develop, procure, and deploy free in-apartment Wi-Fi networks for 3 public housing locations, supporting Massachusetts Broadband Institute Digital Equity Partnership Program.
- Created 3 Digital Equity plans for cities with populations of up to 150,000, coordinating with 37 municipal leaders, community foundations, digital equity advocates, and affordable housing organizations.
HR&A Advisors 2017 – 2018
Project Manager
- Led a $157MM project to provide universal internet access within New York City, overseeing network design, workforce development, and coalition building for the New York City Internet Master Plan.
- Managed planning and development for a program projected to increase Gross City Product by up to $142B, provide up to 165k new jobs, and grow personal income by up to $49B.
- Conducted market research, identifying necessary resources and requirements and coordinating with vendors and stakeholders to determine an appropriate budget of $2.1B.
Red Hook Initiative 2011 – 2017
Director of Technology Programs (2015 – 2017)
- Oversaw a portfolio of 8 programs, providing media and technology training and leading an initiative to expand community Internet access, providing 38 Wi-Fi hotspots and enabling access for over 1k users after natural disasters.
- Spearheaded a Digital Stewards program with 10 cohorts of 12 students, providing technology training and employment support, with 89% of participants securing employment or pursuing further education at the conclusion of the program.

- Supervised 80+ youth and adult staff, ensuring project members were empowered to complete tasks and meet KPIs, and hired, supervised, and trained new staff to support organizational growth.

- IDEA@thebass Fellows are charged with incorporating human centered design thinking into the educational programs and culture of the Bass Museum.
- In consultation with education staff led the redesign of the Lindemann Family Creativity Center as well as workshops for museum staff to increase their collaboration and efficiency
